Mariana Shishkova was born in 1958 in Varna.
In 1982 she graduated from the "St. Cyril and Methodius" Technical University with a degree in mural painting.
Mariana is an artist with a long creative biography with participation in numerous national, international, group exhibitions.
Her subjects are diverse: man, nature, abstract and conditional space. She pays great attention to the composition, technique and technology of the material, the painting must outlive its author so as not to harass restorers. She graduated in decorative monumental painting and that is where her love for artistic textiles comes from. She has realized several large monumental projects, but she also creates easel works. Many of her works are in her own collections and private homes, Hungary, Austria, Great Britain...
She enjoys drawing illustrations for children's books.
