Diana Yordanova was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. Her interest for visual arts emerged in childhood, leading her to actively pursue painting, photography, and then cinema. In 2010, she graduated from the "National Professional High School of Polygraphy and Photography," specializing in Photography. Subsequently, she obtained a bachelor's degree in Cinematography in 2015 and a master's degree in Cultural Management and Visual Communications in 2016 from South-West University "Neofit Rilski" Blagoevgrad.
Throughout her academic journey, Diana participated in various creative projects recognized by national and international film festivals, including Balchik Film Festival - In the palace, 2012; CinemadaMare Film Festival, 2012; The Golden Eye Cinematography Art Festival, 2014, etc. She has both- solo and family exhibitions, showcasing her photography and fine arts, notably "Three Generations of Artists" exhibition in Sofia. She participated and won various awards in photography contests.
Since 2014, Diana has been actively engaged in the visual effects industry, working in renowned studios such as Worldwide FX in Sofia and Universal Production Partners (UPP) and Magic Lab in Prague, Czech Republic, working in productions like Terminator: Dark Fate, Disney's "Jungle's Cruise", Wrath of Man. In 2021, she worked with Portuguese and Mexican film studios while residing in Prague.
Diana Yordanova's feature film: "To Get Lost in Another World," was screened at South-West University "Neofit Rilski" Blagoevgrad and The Golden Eye Cinematography Art Festival. In 2021, three screenings followed - in Sofia city in July and August and Kyustendil city in September. Additionally, her feature film "Awareness" received positive reception in Bulgaria. Diana also worked in Goodbye Kansas Studios in London and the Irish studios SSVFX and Windmill Lane in Dublin, working on notable productions like Thor: Love and Thunder, Ms. Marvel (TV Mini Series), Willow (TV Series), Spider-Man: No Way Home - Extended Version, Shogun (TV Mini Series).
In 2022, Diana relocated to Dublin, Ireland, where she continued her career as a VFX Compositor, Lead Compositor, Compositing Supervisor, and On-set VFX Supervisor. With a decade of experience spanning over 40 feature films and TV series, Diana remains dedicated to her craft and ongoing creative endeavors.
